Our Factory and Production Capacity

Aluminaworld operates from a 28,000 square meter manufacturing facility in Zibo, Shandong Province, China. The site is located 80 kilometers from Qingdao Port, the largest container export hub in northern China, which gives us a logistical advantage for FOB, CIF, and CFR shipments to global destinations.

Our annual production capacity stands at 20,000 metric tons across all product lines. Molecular sieve accounts for approximately 8,000 MT per year, including 3A, 4A, 5A, 13X, and molecular sieve powder grades. Activated alumina production runs at 6,000 MT per year, divided between 3 to 5 mm beads, 4 to 6 mm beads, 1.6 to 2.5 mm beads, and 200 to 325 mesh powder. Aluminum hydroxide capacity is 4,000 MT per year, and calcined alumina plus tabular alumina together represent 2,000 MT per year.

The facility runs three shifts per day, 330 days per year, with the remaining days reserved for annual maintenance and process upgrades. We have never missed a customer delivery window in 15 years of export operations. The production planning team uses an Enterprise Resource Planning system that is integrated with the logistics partners, so we can give customers a real-time production status update at any point during the order fulfillment cycle.

Quality Control and Testing Laboratory

Every batch of product is tested in our in-house quality control laboratory before shipment. The lab is equipped with a Micromeritics ASAP 2460 surface area analyzer, an X-ray diffraction unit for zeolite phase verification, a laser particle size analyzer, an attrition test rig, and a moisture analyzer. Standard tests run on every batch include BET surface area, pore volume, attrition loss, bulk density, particle size distribution, and water adsorption capacity at 50 percent relative humidity (ASTM D5028).

Customers can request a Certificate of Analysis with the actual test values for their specific lot. We also retain 500 gram reference samples from every batch for 12 months after shipment, so that any post-shipment dispute can be resolved by re-testing the original lot in a third-party laboratory of the customer's choice.

Export Experience and Global Logistics

Aluminaworld has shipped to 60 countries across six continents. The top five export destinations by volume are Brazil, India, the United States, Germany, and Turkey. We have established freight forwarder partnerships with COSCO, Maersk, MSC, and CMA CGM, which allows us to negotiate competitive ocean freight rates on behalf of our customers. Standard lead time for production is 25 to 30 days, and ocean transit time is 25 to 40 days depending on the destination port.

For customers in urgent need, we maintain a 200 MT finished goods buffer for the most popular molecular sieve grades (4A 1.6-2.5 mm, 4A 2.5-5 mm, activated alumina 3-5 mm). This buffer allows us to ship within 7 to 10 days for emergency orders, though pricing for buffer-stock shipments is 5 to 8 percent above the standard production-order price.

Customer Support and Engineering Services

Our technical team includes 12 chemical engineers and 6 customer service representatives who are available Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm China Standard Time. We provide free engineering support on bed sizing, regeneration cycle design, and sieve replacement timing. For complex applications, we can do a site visit to your facility (subject to travel cost reimbursement) to inspect the existing adsorber and recommend the optimal sieve grade and bed configuration.
